Mountain Reedbuck are pretty small animals, with big full grown adults standing about 30″ tall at the shoulder and weighing around 60 pounds. Their coat consists of reddish brown hair with a white belly.
They are usually found in wooded areas of the mountainous regions of South Africa. Mountain Reedbuck are both browsing and grazing animals and their diet consists of both leaves and grasses. They are typically found in small herds of 5-6 animals consisting of a dominant male with several females.
